League commissioner and original show co-host Ammad Sheikh kicked off the festivities with the first ever edition of "Commish Corner" - reviewing the week that was and previewing the week to come in the SASL. The 'commish' gave his take on the 5-time champion Softballers early season struggles, the high powered Indians adding Khaled Ahmedy and Gage Nestor, and why he thinks the Spartans could be a very tough out down the stretch of the season.

Hosts Siddique Farooqi and Ammad Sheikh were joined by their resident WWE expert Ayaz "Daddy" Dar.

They talked about the situation with Mike Rice and began to talk about the NY Knicks. The NY Knicks are going to the promised land, the NBA playoffs, they have won the Atlantic. For the first time in the longest they have a scoring champion.  The Knicks are hot again and all three chimed in with their thoughts.

They were joined by Seth Mitchell. Seth Mitchell is coming off of a loss against Jonathan Banks. Seth has been called the biggest and best American heavyweight. He was expected to defeat Jonathan Banks and fight against one of the Klitschko brothers for the Heavyweight Championship. But as they say in Boxing anything can happen. Seth lost that fight but now he is back for a rematch. During their preparation for a rematch Jonathan Banks was injured. So now Seth has had to wait again as he finally gets his chance.

While this is going on The Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank feud took another turn as now HBO has aligned themselves with Top Rank and Showtime has effectively become a Golden Boy Promotions shop. Seth discusses his upcoming fight against Jonathan Banks and what the future holds for him now that he is only going to be on Showtime.

Next SASNRadio was joined by NY Times Best Selling author Brian Shields the author of the WWE Encylopedia. Brian talked about his encounters in the Wrestling World his background at Acclaim and the work that he has done on various WWE video games. Brian talked about his upcoming event and book signing at Ocean Side Library.

Lastly Hashim Naveed of the Spartans came on and talked about the Spartans. He made it clear that this was not a merger of the Titans players with the Spartans to form a new team. He cleared up some misconceptions but laid down the law.

Billy the Kid Dib the IBF Champion called in live from Australia.  33-1 with 20 knock outs. Billy talked about how he got his nick name. He talked about a sponsor telling him that if he called himself Billy the Kid that he was going to get a big sponsorship package. So from there he became Billy the Kid Dib.  He was sponsored for 200k. He talked about his fight against Eduardo Escondido.  Billy talked about being dropped by Golden Boy Boxing.

Sadam Real World Kid Ali - talked about his career and his upcoming fight at the Brooklyn Armory, how he was self promoting his own show and he is going in to boxing not only as a fighter but also as a promoter.

Emosh Ansari of 24/7 spoke about the upcoming playoffs for his team 24/7 coming off of 2 consecutive championships.

Host Ammad Sheikh was flying solo this week or was he?

Due to the buzz that he was creating Ayaz "Daddy" Dar was co hosting this week.

This was another jam packed show as usual. The plan was to have Diamond Dallas Page the founder of DDP Yoga and of WWE and WCW fame on the show.

The show started out normally with some talk of the South Asian Bowling League talk www.southasianbowling.com. From there they spoke a little bit about the NY Knicks

But then they were joined on the air by none other than DDP - Diamond Dallas Page.

Diamond Dallas spoke about how he got in to Yoga and how it has helped people and transformed lives.

There was the story of Arthur an injured veteran who couldn't walk with out the assistance of a walker, he was in a back brace. He tried the DDP Yoga and he was able to not only lose 140 pounds but able to walk again. There is story after story.

It was obvious from discussing this with Diamond Dallas that he was very passionate about his project.

While discussing this with him a voice rang out in the back ground. DDP began speaking to Jake the Snake Roberts.

Hosts Ammad Sheikh and Ayaz Dar quickly got Jake the Snake on the air on SASNRadio.com and began to speak to Jake the Snake about his regrets in wrestling. How he was screwed out of an opportunity due to his increasing popularity. What happened to the snakes?

Next week they are going to be speaking to Hussein and Hamza Abdullah the Abdullah brothers who will be joining us to talk about their spiritual journey as they turned down a lot of money to perform Hajj. They were featured on Outside the Lines on ESPN. They will be with us next week.

Siddique's first guest was Chris King the voice of the NY Islanders. They talked about the NHL and the lock out and how they are bringing back hockey. The discussion was of the die hards of hockey how the lock out will affect them. The Islanders were previewed thoroughly along with players that were missing and how the shortened season helps them or hurts them.

Siddique was then joined by Lamar Basnight a player who has come in to the South Asian Basketball League's Western Conference and totally dominated including an epic 22 point 30 rebound and 5 assist game.

Ayaz Daddy Dar called in to give his weekly update of the South Asian Bowling League. Daddy Dar of course gave his rants and let everyone have it.

Host Ammad Sheikh was flying solo until a late arriving Atif Tatari joined him.

The moment that everyone had been waiting for. SASN Radio was able to go in to the locker room of the Houston Rockets and speak to Jeremy Lin about his upcoming games with the NY Knicks and his reception at Madison Square Garden.

After the Jeremy Lin and Linsanity we had Sabba Singh of the SABL Eastern Conference NYC Warriors who is causing some of his own Linsanity in the East. The NYC Warriors are dominating and Sabba was quick to give praise to his teammates and talk about how his team may be young but they are learning and getting better week in and week out. He claimed that the team hasn't really played together for that long. If they haven't played together for that long that is going to be a problem for the rest of the league as they are up top the Power Rankings.

Prince Panicker talked about the South Asian Softball League divisional format and how it affected Force.

Finally Solyman Najimi talked about the upcoming winter meetings that are taking place for the South Asian Softball League.  How many teams are confirmed and what the status is looking on having potentially 16-18 teams this upcoming season.

Siddique Farooqi speaks about the tragedy that struck New Town Connecticut with the tragedy that happened with the shooting.

BJ Ruddel called in and spoke about his fantasy football methods and the book that he has written. BJ is very gifted and has great methods in helping you with your team in any sport not just football. Author of the Fantasy Football for winners.  He spoke about various players who you should be picking up. He mentioned that you should be looking at David Wilson because Ahmad Bradshaw has been up and down. He thought that Wilson would be the man that was going to be getting a lot of burn this upcoming week.

Ayaz Daddy Dar talks about South Asian Bowling TV

Evan Dollard a celebrity fitness trainer talks about how you can turn up your work outs and what the best work outs are for your body to excel in sports.  Even spoke about some of the people that he has worked with Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali on American Gladiators. He mentioned methods that you can work on to update your work out for slow pitch softball.  Shoulders get tight so he is a big proponent of doing shoulder stretches, and especially some rotator cuff stretches.

He has been on American Gladiators and also on American Ninja Warrior.

From start to finish it was jam packed.

Atif and Ammad talked about the NY Knicks and how they were exceeding expectations. Ammad a notorious Melo criticizer seems to be softening up his tune. They spoke about Carmelo Anthony and the performance of Raymond Felton.

They were joined live by Carlos Molina the undefeated fighter who is taking on Amir Khan live this Saturday on Show Time in Los Angeles. Carlos spoke about growing up in the area and how this was his Rocky moment and how he planned on shocking the world. He did mention that Angel Garcia the father of Danny Garcia was going to be in his corner in a way to psyche out Amir Khan.

Razi Hussaini called in to discuss the most epic games in the history of SA sports. He spoke about his team the Chargers defeating the Bandits in a game that lasted 5 over times.

Mohammad Bahi of the Warriors talked about how they took apart the Slum Dogs and how they were going to execute their game plan this upcoming Sunday.
